Dodam ze zarejestrowalem dzis domene New gTLD w AM, czy ma to jakis zwiazek? Czy otrzymal ktos podobna wiadomosc?

Od stycznia 2014 roku ICANN wprowadził na rejestratorów domen globalnych (gTLD) obowiązek weryfikacji adresów e-mail z danych kontaktowych dla domen.

Potwierdzenie wygląda następująco:
- abonent przy rejestracji domeny, transferze, zmianie właściciela, a nawet zmianie samego adresu email, otrzymuje od rejestratora
maila z prośbą o potwierdzenie maila (link do kliknięcia w mailu)
- abonent ma 15 dni na potwierdzenie
- jeśli abonent nie dokona potwierdzenia domena zostanie ZAWIESZONA i wszelkie usługi z nią związane przestaną działać.
- rejestrator wysyła dodatkowe przypomnienia o weryfikacji w 7 i 14 dniu.

Możliwe, że ktoś zbiera sobie w te sposób adresy email, które następnie sprzeda spamerom. Ja dostałem podobną wiadomość od Premium po opłaceniu zakupionej na aukcji domeny .info i w treści był adres zaczynający się od https://approve.domainadmin.com/registrant/?verification_id

PS Nie kliknąłem go i czekam aż do końca opłaconego okresu, żeby sprawdzić, czy zablokowana domena też może wygasnąć .

Ja tez zaczekam - dziwna jest ten mail jak i sama domena emailverification.info niby rejestratora (z tresci nie wynika nawet jakiego), ktory ukrywa swoje dane za whoisproxy.com

Nigdy natomiast nie otrzymałem info z domeny, któa jest whoisbyproxy itp. i takich maili bym nie walidował.

 

Widać zatem, że na nowej polityce ICANN próbują żerować wszelkiej maści scamerzy, co nie jest dziwne.

Zgodnie z wymaganiami ICANN (http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registrars/raa/approved-with-specs-27jun13-en.htm#whois-accuracy) po rejestracji, transferze czy zmianie danych abonenta dla domen globalnych, rejestrator wysyła do abonenta wiadomość weryfikacyjną, którą użytkownik musi potwierdzić w ciągu 15 dni. Dla usług zamawianych w naszym serwisie taka wiadomość jest wysyłana z adresu noreply@emailverification.info

Możliwe, że ktoś zbiera sobie w te sposób adresy email, które następnie sprzeda spamerom. Ja dostałem podobną wiadomość od Premium po opłaceniu zakupionej na aukcji domeny .info i w treści był adres zaczynający się od https://approve.domainadmin.com/registrant/?verification_id

PS Nie kliknąłem go i czekam aż do końca opłaconego okresu, żeby sprawdzić, czy zablokowana domena też może wygasnąć .

 

Jeśli nie klikniesz tego potwierdzenia, to domena zostanie zawieszona po 15 dniach. Będzie nadal zarejestrowana, ale zostanie usunięta delegacja domeny i nic z nią nie będzie można zrobić aż do pozytywnej weryfikacji.

 

Niestety, tak jak wyżej napisał pracownik AM, ICANN od stycznia wprowadził całkowicie nonsensowny wymóg potwierdzenia adresu e-mail po każdej zmianie abonenta, nowej rejestracji i transferze. Dotyczy to *wszystkich* rejestratorów i wprowadziło niezły chaos, który rejestratorzy z mniejszym lub większym powodzeniem ogarniają. W przypadku premium.pl, maile zawsze wysyłane są z admin-at-premium.pl, domena premium.pl ma ustawione odpowiednie rekordy SPF, więc trudno się pod nią podszyć (to niestety zależy przede wszystkim od konfiguracji serwera odbierającego pocztę), natomiast link weryfikacyjny faktycznie nie wzbudza zaufania, ale nie mamy na to wpływu - jest wstawiany przez Tucows, którego jesteśmy resellerem.

 

Mamy też sygnały, na szczęście sporadyczne, że zdarzają się maile podszywające się pod rejestratora, oczywiście wysyłane z zupełnie niezwiązanych adresów i namawiające do kliknięcia w zupełnie inne linki. Nie mam zielonego pojęcia w jaki sposób "mądre głowy" z ICANN nie wpadły na to, że ich pomysły będą miały dokładnie takie skutki. Zawieszają domeny jeśli ktoś zignoruje podejrzany mail (tak jak to robił przez ostatnich naście lat), przez co uczą ludzi by klikali w linki w podejrzanych mailach "bo a nuż jak nie kliknę to mi domenę zawieszą". Jak zwykły user ma odróżnić mail od rejestratora od maila phishingowego? Nie mam pojęcia. Jeszcze w naszym przypadku to jest o tyle proste, że oryginalne maile są po polsku, ale ten z pierwszego posta faktycznie wziąłbym w pierwszej chwili za phishing: takie rzeczy jak "Best regards, Your ICANN Accredited Registrar" czy zupełnie niezwiązana z rejestratorem domena - śmierdzą na odległość, że nie wspomnę o ukrytych danych w whois. Nie jest to absolutnie zarzut w stronę dropped, tylko do Key-systems. Może umyślili sobie, że dzięki temu nie ujawniają się przed klientami swoich resellerów, ale czy pomyśleli, że w ten sposób uczą ludzi klikania w "prawdziwie phishingowe" maile?
